WHEN WILL I FIND OUT WHAT TEAM MY CHILD IS IN?
The team allocation process starts as soon as registrations close. For those children who have chosen to trial for a streamed team (Under 9s and above), they will find out shortly after the trials. Those children playing in non-streamed teams will be advised a few weeks before the season commences.
CAN MY CHILD PLAY IN A DIFFERENT GRADE?
The NZ Football national body expects all children to play in the correct grade based on their year of birth. If you wish to discuss this further, please contact Niall Jessiman
PLEASE NOTE: Female players (GIRLS ONLY) can choose to play one grade down.
IS THERE A FOOTBALL CODE OF CONDUCT?
Yes, there is a NZF Code of Conduct. Every coach, manager and caregiver should read and understand the NZF Code of Conduct. The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to encourage fair, ethical treatment of all persons and organisations that come under the umbrella of New Zealand Football.

WHERE ARE THE GAMES PLAYED?

First Kicks
Saturdays 8.30 - 9.30am at Newtown Park.
Fun Football (Under 7 and 8)
Saturdays 9:30 - 10:30am at Newtown Park. For more information on Fun Football please click here.
Festival days will take place every 3rd week. Teams may travel to other grounds to play on Festival days.
Some Festival Day grounds include:
Wakefield Park – 137 The Parade, Island Bay
Miramar Park – Darlington Road, Miramar
Newtown Park – Mansfield Street, Newtown
Karori Park – 400 Karori Road, Karori
Please Note: This is just a selection of fields teams may travel to on Festival weekends.
Under 9 and Above
Games are played on sports grounds around Wellington; in general, grounds can get further away as players get older.
Listed below are some of the parks Under 9 and above may play at:
Liardet Park, Vogeltown
Vogelmorn Park, Mornington
Karori Park, Karori
Crawford Green, Miramar
Southgate Park, Southgate
Mt Albert Park, Berhampore
Churton Park, Churton Park
MacAlister Park, Berhampore
Tanera Park, Brooklyn
Wakefield Park, Berhampore
Nairnville Park, Ngaio
Pinkerton Park, Newlands
Ngatitoa Park, Porirua
Girls only
Play on artificial turfs at either Wakefield Park, Te Whaea or Nairnville Park.

Please remember:
All Players should have their own training ball:
First Kicks - Size 3 ball.
Under 7 & 8 - Size 3 ball.
Under 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 - Size 4 ball.
Under 14 and above - Size 5 ball.

Please remember:
- In some instances Coaches allow junior members to look after the Club strip for the season.
- The shirts are supplied as part of the team gear and are returned to the Club at the end of the season.
- Club shirts should only be worn for matches, and not for practice or casual wear.
- The player will be required to pay for the replacement of the shirt, for any damage or loss.
