The 2024 Women’s National League Campaign is our Diamond's next big challenge following an incredible season where we proudly won both the Women's Central League and the Women's Premier League! We have now won the Women's Central League and incredible 6 times in 10 years; with our Diamonds finishing unbeaten in the league with the best attacking and defensive records to boot!

These league victories not only reflect our hard mahi, dedication, and teamwork, but also marks the next chapter of an exciting journey toward competing for the ultimate prize in the Women's National League. As we gear up for this, we’re calling on our community of supporters to stand with us to help us reach new heights.

Our campaign is about more than just the games; it’s about the people who fuel our success, both on and off the field. The energy of our fans and supporters, the dedication of our good sorts, and the united dedication of our players have all been key to our achievements so far. At the end of last season, at Wellington United we put together our new strategic plan for 2024 - 2026.

Our 2024 Women's National League Campaign is our strategic plan in action. With our 2023 Campaign experience under our belt, we are excited to grow both the wider footballing community and our National League Team. We are aiming to create an environment where our players can thrive and showcase their incredible skills on the national stage, while also fostering an inspiring pathway for up and coming players, coaches, and wider team members.

This campaign matters because it represents more than just football - it’s about promoting women's leadership, resilience, and athletic excellence. By supporting our campaign, you contribute to the growth of the sport and help inspire the next generation of players.

How you can be a part of our journey!

There are many ways you can contribute to and be a part of our journey:
  • Good Sorts Volunteers | Join our team of volunteers and help us make each matchday a success, from welcoming our supporters to assisting with game day logistics and everything in between. Teamwork makes the dreamwork as they say. Whether you are 7 or 70 years young, we have a role for you. Find out more here!
  • Support |  Attend our games, cheer us on, and be a part of the action. Your energy in the stands can make all the difference. Bonus points for wearing orange and bringing signs.
  • Donate | Competing on the Women's National League does come at a financial cost. Our 2024 Budget comes in at around $40,000. We have already secured half of the funding required, however we are actively seeking grants, team and player sponsors and donations to help ensure that the Campaign is cost-neutral for our club.
