The Alliance is a collaboration between both Wellington United Juniors and Brooklyn Northern United Junior Football Club. The aim of our Alliance is to give our players that wish to, an opportunity to train twice a week with at least one session run by one of our professional coaches. Our Alliance Teams are placed in grades where they play against opposition of a similar level, so each player gets the right amount of challenge and fun!
All Alliance teams follow the shared philosophy of both clubs:
Alliance Teams are generally available from U10. Players commit to:
Costs
There is an additional cost on top of season fees to be part of an Alliance Team. This reflects the use of professional coaches and the extra training sessions. The Alliance is run on a not-for-profit basis, and we aim to keep the costs as low as possible.
Wellington United is committed to supporting participation regardless of financial circumstances. Assistance may be available through the Football For All Programme, for those experiencing genuine hardship.
