Congratulations to Asha Strom - latest member of 150 club
Saturday's game against Taradale saw club stalwart and legend Asha Strom make her 150th appearance for Wellington United
Asha joined Diamonds from North Wellington in 2015 and after a season in the girls only team, playing in the boys grade, she was moved into the Diamonds and has been almost an ever present ever since.
She joins an elite group, being the fourth women at United to achieve 150 tier 1 games, joining past and present team mates, Sandy Cumpstone, Sarah Alder & Jemma Robertson.
Asha is the latest Diamond's player from the Strom family, with her Uncles Jeff, Dave and Richard (RIP) all making significant contributions to the Diamond family of clubs.
