TOURNAMENT RULES
The Tournament will largely follow the same rules as the Whole of Football Plan 2.0, which the majority of the children would have played throughout the whole season.
Key differences are:
U7s will play U8s Rules to give them a taste of what Fun Football is like. It will be fun organised chaos!
U12s and U13s will play U11s Rules to enable them to play 7-a-side on a quarter of a pitch.
Additional rules for the tournament:
To allow all team to enjoy the day, any games reaching a 7-goal lead (ie 8-1) will freeze the
score and play the remainder of the game with mixed teams.
A horn will signal the start of each game only.
The referee is responsible for the timings of the games and to allow teams to have a quick drink at half time.
The home team will ref the first half, and the away team will ref the second half.
