We have an awesome range of teams at Wellington United ranging from wee young things right through to our masters teams! We are a family friendly club that is based out of the beautiful Newtown Park. Our Junior players get to enjoy two of the Premier playing surfaces in Wellington; with games scheduled on Newtown 1 and 2 throughout the season! As a club we are proud to share around the opportunity to play on our club's number 1 and 2 pitches :) As a bonus, junior players can stick around afterwards, or return after lunch, and watch some of our first team players in action!

Our playing pathway, sees our Junior Footballer progress from First Kicks football right through to Youth and Senior Football. We offer both Mixed and Girls football teams.
Girls may choose to play in the mixed league or play in a Girls League, or both!
Girls are able to play in the age group below their chronological age in the mixed football competitions.
We provide a home for players far and wide and we will always endeavour to pair friends together :) We largely draw players from the Southern, Central and Eastern Suburbs of Wellington; but others travel from afar to be a part of our awesome little club.

- U12 Mini Football – player has their 12th birthday during the playing year (1 January to 31 December inclusive)

All players are generally expected to play within their own age grade.
Age grades are calculated on the age the player turns that year.
Dispensation can only be applied for and granted within the Youth Football Space through Capital Football.
