Mini Football aims to develop football skills which are essential for long term participation in the game. Under 9 and 10s play a 7v7 format and it is the first introduction to playing in leagues against other clubs in Wellington.

Training and Games
Teams will generally train once a week with a game on either Saturday (Mixed) or Sunday (Girls) mornings. Weekly training sessions are usually held at either Wakefield Park, Te Whaea or Wellington College. Training sessions will emphasize and look like a game to focus on developing functional football skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Each team will have a coach and manager for the season. These are made up of good sorts! If you would like to be involved please let us know through [email protected].

Weekly draws will be posted on the Capital Football Website prior to the weekend game and your Team Manager will let you know the details each week.

​Golazo Academy
Players in our mini football teams are eligible to join our Golazo Academy! The Golazo Academy offers players an additional training session during the week, run by one of our qualified Coaches.
