Our U14s & U15s programme is designed for players who are continuing their football journey and looking to further develop their technical skills, confidence, and understanding of the game in a supportive and enjoyable environment. Players are part of our girls’ youth pathway, and all abilities are welcome.
What a Typical Season Looks Like:
The youth football season typically aligns with School Terms 2 and 3, with additional opportunities provided throughout the year through our Golazo Skills Sessions, Golazo Academy, and Holiday Programmes.

Our sessions align with New Zealand Football’s Whole of Football Plan 2.0, ensuring players develop at the right pace in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Above all, we want every child to feel welcomed, valued, and excited to come back each week.
Coaching & Player Support
Our Youth Football Programme is led by our Good Sorts (Volunteer) Parent Coaches, supported and guided by our qualified club coaches. Game Days are overseen by our Good Sorts Parent Coaches.

Golazo Academy
Players in our mini football teams are eligible to join our Golazo Academy! The Golazo Academy offers players an additional training session during the week, run by one of our qualified Coaches. More information on the Golazo Academy can be found here.
Alliance Teams
Players in our youth football teams are eligible to play for our Alliance Teams. More information on our Alliance Teams can be found here.

Wellington United offers a clear and inclusive player pathway from junior football through to youth, to senior, and competitive football, including strong girls’ and women’s pathways. Our goal is to support players at every stage of their development, whether their ambition is social football, competitive pathways, coaching, refereeing, or a lifelong enjoyment of the game.

- Weekly Game | Generally on Sundays

- Football boots for game days.
- Runners or suitable indoor shoes for trainings.
- Shin pads (are compulsory and are to be worn under the socks).
- Water for trainings and game days.
